Two beautifully crafted Talking Benches, built in our Workshop, have now found their homes at St Sampson’s Medical Centre and L’Aumone Medical Centre.
Commissioned by Island Health in partnership with the Guernsey Suicide Awareness Group, the benches are part of an important island-wide initiative to support mental health and wellbeing. The project aims to create welcoming spaces in our community where people can pause, connect, and talk, reminding us all that a simple conversation can mean a great deal.
Each bench was thoughtfully constructed by our team in the CLIP Workshop, with care and attention poured into every joint and finish. As always, the work not only showcases the practical skills of those involved but also contributes meaningfully to the wider community.
It’s been a privilege to be part of a project that champions kindness, connection, and mental health support. We’re proud to know that these benches will offer comfort and companionship to many.
