CLIP is pleased to share another great example of community collaboration. The Health Improvement Commission recently thanked the team at Guernsey Prison for repairing balance bikes that had been damaged at Saumarez and Cambridge Parks. Their work helped keep the popular scheme running smoothly over the summer.

The balance bike initiative plays an important role in giving children the chance to learn to ride in a safe, accessible way. Acts of support like these — along with the donation of new bikes from Adventure Cycles— help ensure more young riders can enjoy this opportunity.

We’re proud to highlight the ongoing efforts within the prison workshop and to celebrate projects that bring people and organisations together for the benefit of the island’s families.
